REVIEW | I loved doing a recent review on Fort&Crib's items! They sent me this adorable little tissue holder and a little teething bracelet, and I just love them both! What a clever idea the wristband is, even though my 16 month daughter is no longer teething, she still put it right in her mouth and was playing with it, she said it was "petty", well I think it's pretty too!! What a great way to have a trendy little baby and keep them entertained too! I'm equally impressed with the tissue holder, this is one of those items that you never realized that you NEEDED! Especially in every Mom's diaper bag! I can't count the number of times I just grabbed a couple tissues and shoved them in my purse as I'm running out the door only to have them smashed at the bottom, hard to find, and difficult to use, but with this clever little pouch, not only are you always prepared, but prepared in style no less! Their items are SO well made and so beautiful, I just can't say enough about them!

Tuesday Tutorial | Travel Placemat
I got this idea from another blog that I follow; Simply Modern Mom! She is doing this great little thing called Project 52: Date Night, where her and her husband take a pledge (that you can print here) to have at least one date night a week (most of them are stay-in dates since they have two kids and are on a budget) So inspiring, and some great date ideas!
She has lots of great little tips, ideas, and tutorials that I love on her blog. Here is a link to her Traveling Placemat Tutorial. I took her basic concept and made it my own with a flip up top to hold the plate and utensils in, as well as act as a mini tablecloth. I also added handles for easy transportation and a clear little window on the plate holder (hard to see in photo) to slip a note, or a name label to tell them apart, especially since I made one for each of my girls. I made this with some old fabric scraps, my grandmothers old bed sheets & pillow cases, and the tie is from a pair of old pj pants! Total cost, almost free!

New Vintage Section
I picked up these while thrifting over the weekend and decided to merge my love for thrifting and nursery items in my shop! There isn't much there now, but you can expect to find more treasures for your nursery in the future!

REVIEW | I have had this little case for about a month now, and since L'il Bo Peeps offered to let me do a review for them, I just haven't been able to live without it! It particularly came in handy in the grocery store when my 13 month old decided to discard a mouthful of crackers and spit down her shirt... in front of a backed up line of people staring at me, I was able to locate the rags to wipe her up within seconds since they were right with the case and easy to find, it was great! If your baby isn't a spitter, you can easily replace these burp rags with diapers so they aren't smashed in the bottom of your purse! The case & burpies were very well made, and even came full of wipes for me to use!! It was mailed very nicely with a cute little tag & ribbon and even came with a special discount for your next purchase! Love this!

Tuesday Tutorial | Flower Shirt
I picked this little shirt up at a GSale for .25 cents, and I got a bunch of fabric scraps that came in a big bundle of about 5 yards worth at Goodwill for only $2.99!
Supplies: T-Shirt, iron-on adhesive paper, fabric, thread, scissors, sewing machine.
1. Follow the directions on the adhesive paper to fix the fabric to it.
2. Cut out the shapes that you want & follow directions to iron it to your clothing. As you can see, I have several layers for fabrics, in this case, be sure to iron on each seperatly, one at a time, otherwise they will not bond properly.
3. After you bond the first layer, sew it around the edge to permanently fix it (this takes a bit of practice, just make sure you go slow and have a firm hold on the fabric)
4. Once you have all your layers ironed and sewn, you can sew on the stems, just do a straight line, I did it here three times to make it stand out more and because I like the multiple sew lines, but for darker shirts, you may only need to do it once.

REVIEW | I recently reviewed this cute little zip bag and I totally love it! It not only arrived promptly and neatly packaged but it is made very well! The inside has a cream colored lining and is very durable, not to mention trendy! They promote this little bag as a cosmetics bag, but I love it as a "Misc Baby Bag" I can put all my little portable baby trinkets in there and always know where they are in my diaper bag instead of searching through it for 10 minutes desperately looking for that teething toy. This is a perfect little purse organizer bag, or heck, you could actually use it for what it was intended, I'm sure one day it will convert into a make-up bag for me. :)
